The trail offers peace and immersive nature with fewer crowds than larger national sites. Entry is about 75 GHS for foreigners, with student discounts.

A short but scenic hike (around 20 minutes) to the summit of Mount Gemi rewards visitors with panoramic views of the Volta Region and, on clear days, Lake Volta. At the top stands a historic stone cross erected by German missionaries in 1890, making it both a natural and spiritual landmark.
